The 5L is designed for the group. It holds roughly 30 standard cocktails (based on a 166ml pour) or just over a dozen beers (375ml). It is approximately 2.5x the capacity of our original Tanky.
Does it keep drinks cold all day?
Yes. The double-wall stainless steel insulation is built to keep liquids ice-cold for up to 8 hours, even in direct sun. We recommend chilling your batch before pouring it in so you don't need to dilute it with ice.
Do I need CO2 cartridges?
Yes, the CO2 is what keeps the pour pressurised and carbonated. The 5L uses the same standard 16g threaded CO2 cartridges as the original model. One cartridge is all you need to dispense the full 5L capacity, keeping the pressure consistent from the first pour to the last.
Can I put fruit or pulp in it?
We highly recommend straining your mixers first! Pulp, seeds, and fruit chunks can clog the tap system. Stick to smooth liquids (like strained lime juice) for the perfect, frothy pour every time.
