Refund Policy
Returns, Refunds & Warranty
At Tanky we want every customer pouring with confidence. This policy explains your options if something isn't right with your order, and the warranty that backs every unit. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
Change of mind
All sales are final. Because of the nature of our products, we do not offer change-of-mind returns, exchanges or refunds. Please choose your size and colour carefully — our team is always happy to help you decide before you buy. Just email hello@tanky.com.au.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights, guarantees or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable consumer protection laws, which cannot lawfully be excluded. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your Tanky arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, or develops a manufacturing fault, we'll make it right — and in most cases you won't need to send anything back.
Email hello@tanky.com.au and include:
- your order number, and
- a clear photo or short video showing the issue.
Our team will confirm the fault and arrange the best resolution, which is usually one of:
- a replacement part (for example a tap set or regulator) — the fastest and most common fix;
- a full replacement unit; or
- a full refund, if you'd prefer.
We cover the cost of approved replacements. We may ask a couple of quick troubleshooting questions first, because many issues (no flow, frothy pours, a small leak) are solved in under a minute without a replacement.
12-month warranty
Every Tanky kegerator is covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, from the date of delivery. The warranty covers faults in materials and workmanship under normal use.
The warranty does not cover:
- change of mind;
- damage from misuse, accident, neglect, dropping, or improper cleaning or storage;
- unauthorised modification or repair;
- normal wear and tear; or
- consumables, including CO₂ cartridges.
Refunds
Where a refund is approved, it is issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for it to appear, depending on your bank or card provider. We refund in the currency you were charged.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, email us as soon as possible. We can cancel and fully refund any order that has not yet been dispatched. Once an order has shipped, our standard returns terms above apply.
International orders (US & New Zealand)
These terms apply to all markets we serve. For faulty or damaged items shipped to the United States or New Zealand, contact us as above — we'll resolve it without requiring a return wherever possible.
